This is a second worksheet in a similar fashion to my first Balancing Equations Worksheet found here
These are a little bit more challenging once students have mastered the first worksheet.
With this worksheet students are challenged to balance chemical equations by cutting out the coefficients and gluing them in the correct spots. One of the hardest parts of teaching balancing equations is trying to get through to students that they may only change the coefficients, nothing else about the compound.
I have found that students work harder on this assignment if it involves more than just using a pencil. The cutting and pasting sucks them in and they really work hard getting the coefficients in the right place.
