Balancing chemical equations can be tricky business for students! Add some fun to this topic by giving your class this peer-based activity for balancing and correctly identifying chemical equations! These printable mats are great for giving an alternative to another worksheet. Students will enjoy the hands-on approach of matching written equations to their formulaic equations, manipulating the correct coefficients in the equations, and writing the appropriate number of atoms present in the chemical equations.
