Students will learn the foundation of balancing equations. Part 1 includes background questions including law of conservation, vocabulary, and symbols. Part 1 also includes naming reactants from the formula. Part 2: using popcubes (you can use with or without) students will create a visual on how compounds are arranged. They will be able to read subscripts and coefficients. Part 3: Putting it all together! Students will draw the compounds (not vsper but you may if you have advanced studetns), count the elements, and balance.
