I created this measurement packet for my students as some additional review with choosing the units used for each type of measurement--length, capacity/liquid volume, weight/mass and temperature. There are 4 sheets included in the pack--see thumbnails--one that reviews ballpark estimates (ex:does a stack of books weight 3 pounds or 3 ounces), which units would be used to measure length, weight, temperature, liquid volume, etc., a sort to sort the units used for the measures previously listed, and another sheet where the students circle the units used for various measures--weight of a baby, coffee in a mug, etc. and there can be more than one answer. Lost of variations of the same measurement concepts to reinforce this tricky skill and to help the kids differentiate between the units used for each measurement. Great practice, math seatwork, morning work, introductory practice after a mini-lesson, assessment, homework, etc. Also check out my measurement word search!!--for fun or a filler activity, also great for vocabulary and spelling enrichment.
