This bundle contains a few items that will help with classroom management in a muisc perofrmance classroom (although it says band it can be used in choral and orchestra classrooms as well). Not only will these sheets keep student sfrom distracting your class while not participating, they will help you keep record of how many times they have misbehaved in class or not had their materials.
The first sheet is in the form of a letter that students must copy and give to their parents (this also helps parents to aid their student into being more repsonsbile when it comes to having their materials for a a music performance class). It also has musical vocabulary they must define and questions that require critical thinking as to how they can change the current habit of being unprepared so as to be prepared for the next class.
The second sheet is a "Time Out Lesson" in which students need ot take a time out from the class due to lack of focus, attention, discipline, etc.
This must be copied, taken home and signed by a parent/guardian. The lesson allos for students to fill in blanks about how their behavior effects the ensemble and how they can improve their behavioral performance for the next class
The last sheet is a cumulative evaluation sheet to normally go home before progress reports and report cards. This sheet has comments to select to describe the progress of your students. It also has a signature section for parents/guardians in which they must leave a comment for the teacher as well as a signature to ensure that they read and understood your comments
