This activity was created for a unit on economics to provide students practice with balancing a bank account. You can use this to compliment math skills in an economics unit or use is during a math decimal unit. Students must add deposits, subtract withdraws, and add earned interest during this game.
Simply print out and cut apart the game pieces. (I usually seal mine in a snack size Ziplock bag for safe keeping.) Then make copies of the balance sheets. You can make several copies and have students write on them with pencil or laminate them and reuse them by using dry erase markers and dryer sheets as erasers. I store all supplies in a gallon sized Ziplock bag so nothing goes missing in between uses!
