This is a wonderful book for helping your students understand graphing. For those classes who are already familiar with using bar graphs, it can also be used as a fun getting to know you activity at the beginning of the year. It makes a cute class book, and is a great way for the students to learn about each other while practicing their graphing skills.
I have provided both a colored version and a black and white version of this graphing book. You could either make one colored class book to keep in your classroom for the children to look at throughout the year, or you could print a black and white copy for each child so they all have their own individual graphing book.
This resource includes the following nine graphs: gender, hair, eyes, family size, pets, birthday month, favorite color, favorite holiday, and favorite sport.
Note: I have also included pages with the alternate spellings of color/colour and favorite/favourite for my UK customers!

I hope your children enjoy graphing with this fun book!
If you are going to use this class graphing book as a “getting to know you” activity at the beginning of the year, you may also be interested in purchasing a cute matching All About Me book in my store. After the children have completed a page in their individual All About Me book, it is fun to have them do the corresponding graph in the Graphing Our Class book!
