PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This book contains three duets, each one playable by any two bass clef instruments (bassoon, trombone, baritone/euphonium, cello, double bass, etc.).

The pieces include the following.

1. Le Petit-Rien
2. L'épineuse
3. Les Jongleurs, Sauteurs: et Saltimbanque...

The pieces in this volume were selected from Couperin’s 27 ordres (suites) for the harpsichord. These ordres differ from typical baroque dance suites in that they include a great number of character pieces which are meant to evoke images, moods, or feelings.
