had no idea how to accurately title this product, so I came up with Marshmallow Team Barter Challenge.

Students will learn: bartering, sequencing, engineering, perseverance, teamwork, and so much more.

This is the plan in a nutshell.

Students are set in teams to barter with the materials they have to get the materials they need to complete the challenge. I set up teh exchange rate on an anchor chart. For example 1 shoebox for 15 popsicle sticks. The final task was to use the materials to create a marshmallow catapult; however, you could have your students create anything in its place.
The concpet behind this challenge ws to help my students understanding bartering and teamwork.
