This math station will help your students learn how to subtract decimals to the hundredths. All you need are base 10 blocks, paper bags, and these cards.
Students will build the number on the card using the base ten blocks and put them into the bag. They will then reach into the bag and pull out a handful of blocks. They will subtract this number from the original total and check their to see if their answer matches up to the number of blocks left inside the bag.
The flat 100 block equals 1 whole.
The 10 stick block equals 1 tenth (0.1).
The single 1 unit equals 1 hundredth (0.01).
This item includes 28 cards and a page of directions.
