This is a packet of three base ten activities.
1. Card numbers – print on card stock, cut (laminate if you prefer).Have students use the cards to demonstrate any number up to 1,999.
2. Spin a number – print on cardstock, cut and arrange from largest to the smallest on top and fasten with a brad. Have students spin to make numbers.
3. Build a secret number – print on cardstock – double sided. And laminate so the students can write in the boxes with dry erase markers, and reuse. Give each child a secret number to build and have them use base ten blocks to show their number. Have the rest of the students do a round robin to decipher the value of each structure.
