What better way to have students understand numbers than to actually make those numbers! During this hands-on cooperative center game, students get to create numbers utilizing base 10 blocks. If you don’t have base ten blocks, don’t fret! Your students can play this game too by drawing the number on a dry erase board instead!
This center will meet the needs of all of your learners as you can differentiate the numbers of digits that students make. And students can play it over and over again!
Students work together checking each other’s number representation and if correct, they get to draw one part of their animal. The first person to complete their animal, wins!
