Base Ten Number Sort is an easy way to review place value. Numbers are represented with place value blocks in various ways. Students count the blocks and sort based on the total number of blocks show. This activity is perfect for a place value math station or center, or work for individuals or partners.

Six different numbers are represented with base ten blocks in multiple ways, so students are able to practice making exchanges of longs for cubes. Students count the blocks and match them to the correct numeral - three representations per numeral. A recording sheet is included to build in student accountability at math stations.
