Center for number recognition and basic operations activities.
The first two pages are drawings of base ten rods. Copy them on cardstock paper and have students cut them and place them in ziploc bags. This way each group of students or each student will have their own manipulatives to work on. The next pages are cards with several numbers in three formats: numbers, written form, and base ten blocks. Students should match the proper number with its written form and its block representation. The following pages are assessments in which students cut and paste different forms of numbers. They could also be used for homework. The activities come both in Spanish and English.
