Base-Ten War to 1000 is a twist on the traditional card game "War." Instead of comparing numbers, players count the base-ten/place value blocks on their cards and the player with the largest number wins the hand! The game can be played with pairs or small groups of students.
This math game includes directions and game cards for 32 numbers, each represented four ways (base-ten blocks, numerals, words, and expanded form). Also included are three pages to practice counting base-ten blocks, reading number words, and writing numbers in expanded form.
This game is also available as a Base-Ten Bundle.
