Product Description
The kids play ball in this adapted game of baseball. Students will roll three dice and add up the sum. Their sum determines if their player gets a hit or an out. If it is a 5 then it is an out. If it is a 14 then their player hit a homerun. Each at bat students will add their addends.
This game can be played with 4 on a team or even just 1 per team. You get to decide. In my classroom I have them playing as individuals.
You may need to devote a little time going over the rules and how players tag-up and advance when there is a pop up. Or cross that out on the chart. I teach 1st grade so I spent some time on how to play baseball. We went and played kickball and went over different situations. Work with the Gym Teacher if you are not sure.
This is a great game that can be played in 20 minutes. I only have the students play 3 innings and they have a blast.
