I have modified this game from Everyday Mathematics, so it can be used on the Smart board and as a whole group game. This is a fun game that follows the rules of baseball that your students can play to help them memorize their multiplication facts 1-6. Your students will be split into two equal teams, one "pitching", and one up to "bat". Each inning goes until there are 3 outs, and then the teams will proceed to switch places. Further detailed instructions are in the game on the second slide!

*You can also make this game more challenging by using two 12 sided dice instead of using two 6 sided dice.
Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
