Please note: This lab is also part of my Year of Biology Labs- BIG BUNDLE!.
This product includes a 2-part fetal pig dissection lab. Part 1 involves external anatomy of the pig and the first incision to see the liver and digestive system, as well as a brief description about why fetal pigs are chosen as dissection specimens. Part 2 includes the remainder of the basic internal anatomy of the pig including the excretory system, the lymphatic system, the respiratory system, and the circulatory system.
Part 1 and Part 2 both include a set of detailed directions for students to follow as well as a student worksheet to complete during dissection. Student worksheets contain both anatomical diagrams to complete and physiological questions to solidify student comprehension.
