I use these cards to help my Japanese class learn the colors in Japanese. (12 Cards)
Because there aren't many squares, I have students try to get multiple bingos. After 2 people say "bingo", we reset all the cards and play again. We usually end after 5 rounds.
Because I only have 12 cards, larger classes usually play this game in pairs.
Students pair off and each use a sort of place-marker to represent their Xs or Os.
Each time a student places an X or O, they need to say which color they put it on to their opponent. If they don't know the name of the color, their opponent gets to go again (which usually results in an automatic win for the opponent).
