This activity differs from the original Big vs. Small in that it requires students to use critical thinking skills to determine if various animals are big or small in real life. There are no visual cues (i.e: big or small pictures). All pictures are roughly the same size.
This download includes:
-23 color and black and white pictures of animals to help teach big vs. small
-Pages labeled "big" and "little" to use for sorting the pictures.
-A worksheet where students are required to come up with animals that are big and small.
-A worksheet where students must circle "big" or "small" to describe a list of animals.
-A worksheet where students must write the word "big" or "small" to describe a list of animals.
-A worksheet with 10 different pictures (not animal pictures) where students are required to circle a word (big or small) that best describes the picture.
