This activity asks students to classify 9 different factoring problems into 3 different categories based on the method they would use to factor them. The 3 methods are greatest common factor (GCF), difference of two squares (DOTS) and trinomials. After classifying the problems correctly, students will actually factor the problems. This is a great activity to give students practice after introducing factoring!
