This printable book report banner is very basic. It can be used with any fiction book. Let your students share what they learned and hold them accountable by using this reading activity. The finished product will look great hanging outside your classroom any time of the year.
For fancier themed book reports, visit the book reports link in my store :-)
It can also work great for a literacy center, early finishers, or simply an at-home activity.... many options, so use it however it works best for your students.
The book report banner activity has plenty of places for students to add their own creative touches with color, as they do their illustration and also color the border around the banner.
The sections for the students to fill out are:
*Place for their name
* Title of book, Author
*Write a brief summary of the book.
*Main Character, trait evidence from story to support trait
*Problem in story, how it was solved
*Illustrate favorite scene and write a sentence about it.
*Would you recommend the book? Explain why/why not
