Scoot is a GREAT game to get kids physical for a little learning! If you haven't heard of this game, students rotate to different desks that have cards with problems to solve. They write the answers on their "Scoot" sheet and when the teacher says, "Scoot!" they move on to the next station. Super fun!
I created this version for students to identify fractions of a set and fractions of a whole. It's a great review activity or a fun introduction for older grades. Students identify the fraction of the shaded part for each card and write the fraction on their Scoot sheet.
This version includes a 1-20 game as well as a 1-30 game for larger groups.
At the end of the game, you can either use the cards and a document camera to check, or call out the answers from the provided answer sheet. Simple, easy, and FUN! :) I hope your kids enjoy it as much as mine!
