Introducing livestock species terms to your students? This is a great way to teach and reinforce those terms! There are 25 terms to identify five different species of livestock (cattle, swine, sheep, goats, and horses) based on their gender and maturity. Example: calf, heifer, steer, cow, bull.
Blank Notes: This is a one-page PDF chart that students can use to fill in the terms as you teach them. This can also be used as a test or quiz.
Completed Chart: This is in a PDF format, as well as the PPT format and includes all of the terms filled in.
Memory Cards: This PDF document can be printed on cardstock and used as a game in the classroom. Groups of 2-6 students take turns trying to match the term with the definition. This can be played as a memory game or as Go Fish.
