Add, Subtract, Multiply, and Divide Fractions with Answer Key, Student Self-Reflection, and Fraction to Decimal Strips
This is an activity that I developed to give my students practice adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions. There are 24 sets of problems with two fractions each. Students add, subtract, multiply and divide the two fractions on the same page. Also included is an answer key, a set of forms students use to monitor their own understanding of fractions and decimals, and a set of fraction/decimal bars that can be cut apart or used as a chart.
I have designed each set of problems to fit on half a page. All students could solve the same problems for a warm up or a quick formative assessment. Alternately, these could be task cards to be completed as a station or in a game like “Scoot.”
