This class survey activity allows students to get out of their desks and then practice probability math concepts! Students first survey their other classmates on eye color, shoe type, transportation to school, and birthday month. After they obtain their data, they answer the questions on their handout.
Here are some sample questions from the activity handout:
a. What is the probability of picking someone with blue eyes?
b.What is the probability of selecting 2 people with brown eyes?
c.What is the probability of selecting 1 person with green eyes and 1 person with blue eyes?
