Product Description
This is a very basic student growth tracker that is simple, yet powerful. Simply enter your students’ names and class periods in the table by manually typing them in, pressing the “Enter” key after each student name to advance down through the table or by copying and pasting from another table (either Excel or Word). The only areas that you will be entering information into will be the student name, class period (if you have multiple classes) and the pre & post test scores (the table can also grow to include a midpoint assessment if you so desire). The Growth will automatically populate an individual graph line called a spark line for a visual representation of each student’s growth, while the Growth Rate automatically calculates the rate of growth from the scores that you have entered. You will also notice that the areas on the side also calculate the number of students who show growth as well as the percentage of total students who show growth; data required by most teacher evaluation tools.

With a couple of extra clicks, you can receive even more data breakdown. Once you have entered all of your students, simply click anywhere within the table. You will notice when you do this, a new tab on the ribbon will highlight called “Table Tools”, click on “Design” and then put a check mark in the box next to “Total Row”. This will give you an opportunity to see an overall growth rate. If you wish to see a total average of growth, simply click the drop down arrow next to the total in the Growth Rate column and select “Average”. This tool also gives you the option to see the Total Growth Rate and/or Average Growth Rate per each class period! All you need do is click on the drop down arrow next to “Class Period” and select the class period that you would like to see a breakdown of.
