This is a fun, simple game to practice basic subtraction from 10 by discussing the number of ducks in a pond.
Students can use the optional ten-frames to work through subtraction problems.

How to play:
2 students or teams
Students take turns: Student picks a number tile, subtracts that number from the number of ducks in the pond (10) and says the number sentence out loud (10 - _ = _) Student covers the difference with a game piece.
First student to have 3 differences in a row wins! (Just like tic-tac-toe)
