This is a one-page handout on some essential Spanish verbs, based on the practical conversation course "Spanish that Works for You" (available on Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com). The handout reinforces and expands on the basic vocabulary taught in "Spanish that Works for You," and can be used to practice the mini-dialogues after Lessons Eleven and Twelve. The handout includes 1st and 3rd person conjugations of useful verbs such as need, want, and going (to), plus some common infinitives (eat, read, walk, etc.); as well as expressions that can be used with an infinitive verb ("It's time to..."). The handout can be used as a study guide or reference in class or on the job, or in conjunction with the "Basic Nouns Reference Sheet" to teach a lesson on constructing simple sentences in Spanish. The pronunciation guide (see also the free "Saying & Understanding" handout) trains English speakers to both understand and speak Latin American Spanish.
