This pack contains a 22- page phonics review game for learning and practicing reading CVCe and CVC words. In addition, a sorting activity with a recording sheet is included to help to students differentiate between long and short vowel words.
This game can be used during a literacy center, as part of a Daily 5 round or in a word study. As a special education teacher I use this game as a way to review words with a silent e, I slowly add in CVC words for students to practice reading CVC and CVCe words. This game can be easily differentiated as students play with CVC words, CVCe words, or both.
This game could be used in the general education setting, special education, or as part of an RTI program.
