Product Description
Students are to manipulate data using the rosters of two NCAA basketball teams. This project serves well as a culminating activity for a statistics unit. Rosters from two teams have provided for a better project than just having the students use one team. I have had both students pick and research the rosters via the Internet, but most recently have randomly printed sets of two teams to students as an individual project or cooperative project. A rubric is provided for students. Two graph pages are included.
Quartiles: height and weight
Box Plots: height and weight
Back-to-Back Stem Plot Weight
Line Plot or Bar Graph: year in school
Scatter Plot (line of Best Fit): height v weight
