Engaging interactive board game for your music students to review reading music notes on the bass clef staff with a variety of options. Use for whole class instruction, centers and assessment. Check out the preview above for a sample of the engaging components included in the Bundle Set.
Please note that this Bundle Set combines three products also sold separately.
Bass Clef: Battlin’ Basses- a board game for reviewing note names
Includes 3 separate files: Directions, Playing Cards, Game Board
Bass Clef: Battlin’ Basses Level 1 (PowerPoint game for reviewing note names).
An interactive Board game created with PowerPoint 2013 utilizing notes directly on the Bass Clef staff.
Bass Clef: Battlin’ Basses Level 2 (PowerPoint game for reviewing note names).
An interactive Board game created with PowerPoint 2013 utilizing notes on the Bass Clef staff from Low C to middle C (C2-C4).
Utilizing the Batlin’ Basses Board Game in conjunction with the Battlin’ Basses PowerPoint L1 and L2 to review and reinforce reading notes will increase all students’ ability to read notes on the bass clef staff and optimize results. I use the PowerPoint version as preparation to playing the Game Board version. Students are cheering when they have the opportunity to play in small groups with one group using the PowerPoint version! An excellent strategy for keeping the students excited and engaged!
Any one of the 3 games is a perfect to leave for a substitute especially if the students have already played it in class and know the routine. The game will keep students engaged for an entire 30 minutes. In addition, utilizing all three components is an excellent review tool prior to giving an assessment.
Depending on the abilities of your students and how lucky they are in rolling “big” numbers there could be a winner in about 20 minutes. Typically a game will take 30 minutes.
