What educators are saying

Thanks for this wonderful resource! The students loved having a bat day and learning all about them!
My students LOVED the bat cave!! I had only planned on doing one day, but all of the activities lended themselves to several days. My students are still talking about all of the facts they learned!

Do you need to spice up your teaching? Transform your classroom into a Bat Cave for the day with this Bat Cave Day packet. Your students will love completing bat themed academic tasks. Students will work on reading, math, and writing throughout the day.

What does this product include?

The packet includes ideas for transforming your classroom for a Bat Cave Day, signs, stations labels, letter home, bat themed stations (Batty Math, Bat Writing, Spin & Add, Batty Vowels, Fact or Fiction, and Word Family Spin), ABC Order, word search, making words, writing, and Bat Vocabulary.

Who is this product geared towards?

This Bat Cave Day is geared towards 1st grade classrooms, but some Kindergarten or 2nd grade classroom could also make this work.

How can I use this product in my classroom?

Having a Bat Cave Day can be done with very little prep work. I have included all of the printables that you will need. I personally put up some decorations in my classroom that I purchased from Dollar Tree, but you could have a bat-themed day without decorating your classroom at all.
