Battleship in French

Students can practice letters and numbers in French with this fun game.

Gameplay is simple. Each student draws his ships onto the grid marked Mon Marine. Then students search for enemy ships by naming coordinates (ex: be - trois). If the attack misses the other student says Eau!, but if the attack hits a ship the other student says Touché! When a ship is sunk the player says "Mon croiseur est coulé!"

This is much more fun for the students than a worksheet and really gets your students speaking while having fun.

A game typically lasts between 10 and 15 minutes.
