A great activity to use in the classroom for bathroom vocabulary and product identification.
This is also a great tool to use with students in a community setting to explore various stores. It will help students to realize that you can find bathroom items in just about any store you walk into.
Students can use the single sheet with questions or the books with pictures to find items in a store and become more familiar with the vocabulary. There are four different single sheets with up to 8 questions on each sheet and 4 picture books to go along with each sheet. The two versions can be used among students with varying skill levels.
This is a great tool that I use with my own students while we are on Community Based Instruction outings. We begin the lesson by going over items we use in a bathroom. Then we answer the questions in the classroom before we are in the community. This allows the students a sense of structure before we are in the store looking for items that were never discussed with them.
