The CCSS call for more use of informational texts; especially for students in special education. This is an interactive book about bats that provides for informational text for special education students.
☛ an 18-page informational text about bats that is interactive.
☛ Just have students add the symbols to the pages.
☛ There is a second copy of the symbols page to use for the Venn diagram showing how bigger bats (megabats) and smaller bats (microbats) are the same and different. (compare/contrast)
☛ There are now 2 pages of different types of comprehension questions, as well. Both include picture choices for responding.
☛ New 3-2016! Each student makes a lap book with interactive notebook templates for information and a scene for following directions and illustrating some of the information.
My All About Bats book product is written for students at a 3rd-4th grade reading level.
⚠️ This book is for students who are either younger, have more significant language difficulty, and/or are only beginner readers.
