This task has students comparing two batting averages to see which is best. This task is meant to be displayed as a presentation through a projector. There is NO PREP or copies required. However, page 5 is provided if you would like your students to have a paper copy of the task.
This should be used as a solidifying task, as students already need to know how to divide whole numbers by annexing zeros.
Page 2 & 3 explain to students how to find a batting average, for those that are unaware of baseball and/or what a batting average means.
Page 6 & 7 includes an answer key with the full algorithm worked out.
