In this activity, students will work collaboratively to analyze two primary sources related to the Battle of Great Bridge and answer related critical thinking questions. This activity can be used with the whole class or in groups/pairs.
This is an extension of what students need to know regarding the Battle of Great Bridge (aligned with Virginia Studies SOL VS.5c), and a great opportunity for students to practice analytical thinking skills. Students should be knowledgeable about the battle before completing this activity.
There is also a writing response option for one of the primary sources.
