Helpful strategies to help with tattling
My students wanted to tattle on their friends all the time! I created this bundle to help my students understand the difference between a tattle and a report. I talked to my team to try and figure out what to do and I tried having them write their tattles down on paper. I have included templates for students to write their tattles down. However, I thought this too negative and focused too much on tattling, so I wanted to take a more positive spin on this. I included a tattle and tell page where they students can get their tattle out of their system, but they have to tell one thing they like about that person and write it on the paper. I also included a WOW! positive "tattle" page where they students can brag on each other! I like to have my students write their WOWs down on the paper and we read the compliments at the end of the day. It is a great way to end the day! This bundle has really helped my students understand the difference between tattling and reporting and it has helped my students develop relationships.
