These 42 “Common Core Aligned” Fraction Multiplication QR Codes
Cards are a fun and great way to learn, practice and review
standards that must be mastered in 5th grade.
DIRECTIONS TO SET-UP:
The cards, cover sheet and game sheets can be printed on color
paper, card stock or plain black and white. If printing on black and
white adjust your printer to black and white settings. Once printed
attach the Battleship cover to a outside of a file folder; the two
game pages should go inside the folder. I put them inside a page
protector before hand and have the students use fine point dry
erase markers to write on them. You may also choose to make
copies. However, I strongly recommend printing the game cards on
card stock if you want them to last a while.
You may use this as a center, set-up students in pairs and divide the
cards among student groups, after student groups can exchange
the cards until all cards have been used. You may divide the cards
into stations and students can go from station to station in pairs.
Finally, I use this as a review game in my classroom to go with the
other matching Battleship games and the students accrue points per
Battleship game or station; the top four students get a prize. You
may also use these cards separately from the Battleship game, and
set it up as a scavenger hunt or giant Battleship. There are many
ways to use these, and I hope you and your students have fun with
