Battling for Bones is an individual and team game combining math skills, hand-eye coordination and fitness. This activity helps students learn Skeletal System concepts as they increase their heart rates. This activate2educate activity incorporates cross-curricular concepts and health into the Elementary Physical Education setting. To complete this activity, you will need a2e Skeletal System Body Posters (purchased as hard copies separately) unless you have your own posters/poly skeletons.
This bundle includes the activity and all K-5 Bone Location Cards for this game. This Physical Education and Health activity can be used in the P.E. setting as well as in the Health setting. It has been used with students at the Fourth and Fifth Grade levels and can easily be modified for older students. This activity was created by Heather Isler (modified with permission from JD Hughes game called "Roll with It").
