I would like to share with you this printable about the Bay of Fundy, a bay on the North Atlantic coast of North America. I have used it with my 13-year-old students from my CLIL Geography class (English level, pre-intermediate CEFR A2+). It consists of a warming up activity to motivate them to learn about the topic and to check their prior knowledge on the topic, a reading text, some reading comprehension questions, a couple of vocabulary activities, a collaborative exercise and some final discussion points to deal with in a heads-together activity. You will also find the answer key and a printer-friendly versión of the text.
I have done this activity when we were studying the physical geography of North America. My students have learnt a lot about this building, the history and the legend behind it.
