As I was on the hunt for resources to teach my students about Earth Day and Recycling, I realized that there aren't very many out there that include REAL pictures of the topic. To help my students reach the rigorous Common Core State Standards, I want to provide them with non-fiction resources that will connect them to the world around them. This is why I created this Be Green Earth Day Non-Fiction pack loaded with REAL pictures of how to protect the Earth and true information about topics like reducing, reusing, recycling, pollution, landfills, composting, and more!
Here's what's included in this Earth Day pack:
Pg. 2-15: Vocabulary cards (includes a word card, a definition card, and a picture card for 11 words)
Pg. 16-27: Large posters featuring real pictures of topics related to protecting the Earth (included are reduce, reuse, recycle, garbage, compost, littering, pollution, landfill, Earth, decompose, energy)
