This product is a ready to print and use set of comprehension questions and answer key. There are 18 questions for the book that are broken in to shorter page ranges. The questions for this story are literal and easy to find in the text to promote skills in young readers like returning to the text to find answers. I created these to use with my emergent readers in third grade. Students respond to the questions in complete sentences.
These questions can be used for literacy groups, silent reading, or guided reading groups. The document includes an answer key with the responses highlighted in yellow as well as the student version.
I have found that these comprehension questions have increased student test scores in comprehension immensely!
