Be The Change -- Empathy Lesson Pennant Project Is a companion lesson to Michael Jackson's "The Man in the Mirror" song. Students will reflect on world problems, and determine ways that they can Be The Change. Students will also self-reflect on character traits they want to display. Once they have discussed the music, students will create a pennant perfect for displaying in your school or classroom. The Zen Background on each pennant also a great for keeping a class relaxed and calm. This is a great addition to any character education curriculum, as well as a project starter for a kindness project. It can be tied into Science, Civics, Social Studies, Health, Home and Careers and English classes.
