(16 pages in first Mimio file.)
A poster (8.5x11) is included that shows the forms of the "be" verb and when each is used based on tense that can be enlarged and hung in the classroom.
Next, an additional Mimio lesson that includes a board game that requires student teams to correctly answer questions on the 'be' verb and its forms in order to advance around the board. Correct answers allow the team to "roll" the dice and move their game piece forward. The board game is projected on your screen or wall in full size and students move game pieces and roll the dice at the screen area. (Game file has 39 pages.)
The students absolutely love moving the pieces and rolling the dice! -- You'll like how easy the file is to use.
A review and the Be Verb Rock Star video are also included in the Mimio game file so that you do not have to open multiple files.
Custom navigation links let the students "push" the Question Bank link for a new question. The multiple choice question is projected for the next team in line to answer. If they answer correctly they push a link to the game board where they roll the dice and move their token. If they do not answer the question correctly the next team pushes the link for the Question Bank and a new multiple choice question is displayed. (This solves the issue of teachers having to hunt through the Mimio lesson for the next "correct" page!)
There is also a basic worksheet that provides handwriting guides for students to create three sentences that each include a form of the 'be' verb. It was used originally for adding the vocab for that week to the 'be' verb lesson, but you can use it however you wish.
