Be Wise, Subitize!
What is Subitizing? Subitizing is the ability to recognize an amount of objects or dots without counting.
Using Subitizing activities with young children is important because it leads to their development of automatic number recognition.
This product includes Subitizing cards that feature shamrocks rather than the usual dot cards. Use them to add variety to your March Number Talks.
The content of this packet contain 52 pages:
Set One: 18 pages (two cards per page) to subitize shamrocks for quantities of 2 -10. These cards are labeled with letters for organization.
Set Two: Shamrock number cards for numbers 1 -20. I use these cards at centers for students to match sets and numerals.
Set Three: 16 pages with shamrock dominoes for quantities 1 -10. Cards are labeled for organization. For example, dominoes with quantizes of one are labeled: D.A.1 ( D for dominoes A for numbered set and 1 for card #1.) .
