Teach primary students how to use their whole body to listen with this cute Mon "star" student using all his body parts to listen. The lesson begins with watching a 5 minute video of the Cookie Monster learning to listen with his whole body. After, students discuss using their different body parts to help them listen...eyes for looking at the speaker, mouth is quiet, etc. Each slide on the Power Point focuses on a different body part. Assess student learning by having them solve riddles to guess which body part is helping the Mon :star" student listen. Watch the body part appear on the slideshow. Finally, allow students to draw their own Mon "star" student using their whole body to listen.
