This is a fun and engaging way for students to review finding equivalent fractions.
Print & laminate the Game Board & Fraction Spinner for students. Use a brass fastener and a paper clip to make the spinner. Each pair/group needs an Answer Key and two colors of dry erase markers.
Directions: Student A spins the Fraction Spinner, finds an equivalent fraction on the Game Board, and marks the answer off on the Game Board using a dry erase marker. Student B does the same. If a player spins a fraction and all equivalent fractions have been used, that player loses the turn. Play continues until a player has marked off four fractions in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
This is a great review game for extra practice before state tests. Make a few copies to use as a math center during math rotations or have games available for early finishers to play!
