Product Description
What a fun way to practice spatial concepts and attributes – both receptively and expressively! Students listen to clues to identify the names of the “beach kiddos” on the 3 page activity board. Then they listen to clues to identify which flip flops belong to which children. When they have finished that, they can choose their own names for the “beach kiddos” and using descriptions and spatial concepts for the other students to identify the correct child – and the same thing for the flip flops! A great way to lead into summer!

Directions: Print, laminate, and cut out the 3 page activity board and all the cards. Trim and tape together the activity board. Put the board on the table in front of the students and explain that you have to discover the children’s names and then which flips flops belong to which child. Read the clue cards to the students to discover the children’s names. You can place Velcro on the name labels and the activity board if you want. Label each student as the students find them. When all children have been named, lay out the flip flop cards and read the clue cards to help the students find the correct child for each flip flop. When this has been accomplished, the students can choose additional names and flip flops to describe to the other students
